Come and visit the house and grounds and imagine how you would make use of the space. Anything from filming and photography to big birthdays and balls can be held here. We are open to ideas.

It has to be said that we derive great pleasure in helping you create your perfect big day. From traditional Scottish weddings to bespoke humanist ceremonies, we are here to assist and make your wedding dreams a reality.

Both religious and civil ceremonies can be conducted at Dalvey. Ministers and priests of all denominations and humanist celebrants can conduct services here. Ceremonies can take place in the house, garden or on the front lawn beneath the giant beech trees. Come and see the house to help you decide the perfect location for making your vows.

If it’s a traditional wedding you want, a piper can be hired to play your guests in and the newly-weds out. Or perhaps you’d like a string quartet to play an arrangement of your favourite song? We can help you arrange the ceremony exactly as you want it to make it a day for everyone to cherish and remember. Alternatively, you could arrange to be married in a nearby church and hire a wedding car to transport you.

Our kitchen is fully-equipped to cater for weddings of all sizes. It’s simply a matter of hiring the caterers. We are happy to help you to source the perfect menu for your special day.

How do you want to celebrate in the evening? Is a traditional Scottish ceilidh your idea of fun or would you prefer a live band and disco-dancing into the early hours? Maybe you have something completely different in mind? Helping you get things just right is all part of our service.
